Ryan Krill Hitting/Infield Defense
Ryan Krill was a standout baseball player at Michigan State University. He was a 4 year letter winner during his impressive college career. He was an All Big Ten player and NWL summer league all star during his years at MSU. In 2015, as a college senior, he was voted the John Kobs Most Valuable Player, the Kirk Gibson Offensive Player of the Year and the Jerry Sutton Student Athlete Award winner.
He posted the best season of his career as he led the Big Ten conference in nearly every offensive category, including: batting average (.451), slugging percentage (.857), on-base percentage (.545), RBIs (36) and home runs (10) during the conference season. His season total of 57 RBIs tied for the ninth-highest single season total in program history. He ended the year with a team-high .351 batting average and 13 home runs, the final of which was a go-ahead grand slam that came in the eighth inning of a 9-7 win over Nebraska in the Big Ten Tournament. He was drafted in the 9th round by the New York Yankees and played 3 seasons in their organization.
